Sahara - Taste of the Middle East. The client approached us with a vision for a new fast casual chain concept - bring authentic Middle Eastern cuisine served up in a hip, modern setting. that appeals to a broader audience Inspired by the tones of the landscape and the vibrant spices of the cuisine we built a palette around warm honey toned wood, a crisp white to keep the space light and airy and a bold red accent for visual impact. The abstract custom ceiling panels allude to the wind blown dunes while assisting with acoustical attenuation in this space. 

 

design + construction

We had an opportunity to take the small fast casual restaurant we originally worked on and combine it with the adjacent space to be a more formal, sit-down restaurant.  We reused the original ceiling elements and created new wall panels to tie the two aesthetics together.
