Point of Departure was hired by Tideline Partners to design a renovation to an existing one-story retail building in downtown Vista, CA. JBrown construction is building the project.

design process
The initial sketch and model were developed very quickly. The building has a natural corner presence enhanced by the architecture. Through the construction process, the existing building had to be completely rebuilt and the angled roof gave the historic downtown corner the icon it so badly needed.
